"The decor is simple but sharp, pleasing customers who just want grandma's food in a chichi ambiance. Dinner specials tend to be the most adventurous items. There was an impressive chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese and paprika-laced Spanish sausage in a shallow pool of saffron-scented chicken reduction - one of the many details that gives the Cuban Bistro a style of its own."

"I discovered a wonderful Cuban restaurant in Alhambra. The pork here is fantastic I love the traditional Lechon Asado, the Ropa Vieja is excellent and the Langosta al Ajillo is sensational! If you prefer a cocktail, discover Cuban Bistro's creation - the Mojito Vodka Martini. Unbelievable! The basic rum Mojito is also terrific. This is an opportunity to enjoy the wonderful cuisine of Cuba in a lovely atmosphere right in our own back yard."

"You’ll find the Cuban Bistro a nice change from the area’s famous Chinese and Thai food offerings. Inside, you’ll smell the familiar aroma of seasoned garlic. The food itself, everything from Ropa Vieja (yummy shredded beef), to the mouth-watering Congri and Tostones Rellenos, is definitely worth writing a Cuban song about. It’s the ideal spot to sit back and watch a real Mojito created before your eyes. Hit this spot for some rewarding eats."

"Think Desi Arnaz sporting a ruffled shirt, belting out Babalu to the conga drum, with a dash of rumba in the background. Now, erase the Americanized view of Cuba and infuse the European influence of Pinar on the west side of the island. Add a gourmet touch, quotes and stylized maps of a country with more than 8 million people. This is the Cuba Leonel Prats wants discriminating diners to discover."

"You can still enjoy the delights of Cuban cuisine without heading for the Island. My friends tell me that the food is authentically Cuban The bar's a good place to stop at before claiming your table while the bartender makes his famous Cuban Mojito. But you don't come to the Cuban Bistro for just the Mojitos and the Sangria, but also for their Cuban specialties. From the appetizers, my favorite is their Chicken Noodle soup with LOTS of chicken. Don't miss this soup! My suggestion, go for the Grilled Garlic Chicken with plantains, rice and black beans topped with lots of onions. For me though, the best of Cuban is their pork dishes. Masitas de Puerco, chunks of pork fried until crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, served the traditional way with moros rice and plantains. I'm told Ox Tail is popular in the Miami Cuban community. This version is served with a Sofrito sauce and lots of onions. I really like it! House-made desserts include a GREAT rice pudding as only the Cubans seem to make. Service is friendly and helpful. You need more information ordering? Manager Rocky will be at your table to help. The bottom line, good marks for the service, the food, and the reasonable prices. The right place to try the Cuban experience!"
